Mariko Huette is a Certified Thai Bodywork Instructor, and is certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), and is an active member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
LEVEL 1 : THAI MASSAGE FUNDAMENTALS
This 2.5 days hands-on workshop is suitable for any body-worker or trainer wanting to learn Thai Massage fundamentals and acquire an alternative modality. Level 1 is the gateway and prerequisite to all of our advanced courses. We present the energetic and historical basis of the work, body mechanics movement from the core, and fundamental techniques as well as how to effectively practice the routines.
- learn an effective 1-hour treatment sequence.
- learn how to work in a sustainable way that does not injure the practitioner.
- Upon completion, you will receive a 20-hour certificate (NBCTMB approved for 17 continuing education credits).
This course has no prerequisites. You do not need to know yoga or be flexible to practice this modality.
Each class is limited to 8 students. - Early registration is recommended. A deposit is required to secure your place.
